<\/a>Intended Use & Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\nIntended use of this colorant is for limited-exposure diagnostic swallow studies only (Bedside Swallow Evaluations on tracheotomized patients, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing, post-laryngectomy studies by Speech Pathologists and ENTs). Not intended for use in high-exposure enteral tube feeds.<\/p>\n
Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Gently twist and remove tab.<\/li>\n
- Place a few drops at a time into the bolus until the desired color or hue is achieved via conventional mixing (stirring or shaking)<\/li>\n
- For dark, navy blue color, add to foods and liquids with a more neutral pH (water, dairy products, cookies, crackers, etc.)<\/li>\n
- Store in a cool, dark place, out of direct heat & light; can be refrigerated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
